We will be open to PIBS graduate students for rotations starting September 2026.
To join our lab as a graduate student, you must first apply to the PhD Programs in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) at the University of Michigan. Nicole can mentor students in the CDB (Cell & Developmental Biology) and CMB (Cell & Molecular Biology) programs.

We are recruiting postdocs interested in joining the lab with complementary expertise in genetics, developmental biology, and/or cell biology. We are particularly excited to have expertise in heart or neural crest development for the lab’s future projects.

We are not currently open for research internships.
We are happy to consider medical residents and clinical fellows interested in learning about basic science and embryology principles underlying the development of the gut tube. We require a minimum 6 month commitment for a research internship/placement.
